Himanshu Bhalla is a seasoned Software Architect at Intel Corporation’s Client Computing Group in Bengaluru, India. A graduate in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT-BHU, he boasts nearly 20 years of expertise in software architecture, design, and development, focusing on Bluetooth(R) and wireless technologies. He began at startup Impulsesoft, a pioneer in Bluetooth based audio headsets, then moved to Broadcom as Bluetooth technology architect for Samsung Tizen DTV. His contributions to Wi-Fi Direct Services (WFDS) and Wi-Fi Alliance were notable. At Intel, he shaped the Wi-Fi Serial Bus (WSB) standard and pioneered MAUSB (Media Agnostic USB) technology. Bhalla played a pivotal role in defining the LE Audio standard, earning ＂Outstanding New Contributor of the Year＂ from Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) in 2018.
