"The world was changing rapidly around me, and I was just running to catch up. But sometimes it is nice to go for a jog."
Nora is stuck between a world of misery back at her apartment and a harsh, unloving reality just outside of it. She’s caught in the entanglement of what to do with her life when her bartender invites himself into her booth.
What starts as a slightly creepy opening line ends with what seems to be an offering to join a cult... either that or be murdered. But Nora didn’t have anything better going for her. And why return to the violent atmosphere back at the apartment when a door to relief has just been opened?
