Fadi Saleh holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Göttingen, Germany. His work--spanning both scholarship and activism--centers on queer migration, humanitarianism, and the histories and politics of queer and trans* communities, with particular attention to Syria/Turkey and their global entanglements.
Mengia Tschalär (PhD) is Adjunct Professor of Anthropology and Law and Society at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, sexuality, migration, and LGBTQI+ rightsand has appeared in leading peer-reviewed journals and informed numerous policy briefs. She is the co-founder of the Queer European Asylum Network.
