Cooper Jennings, dealing with multiple surgeries after an NFL career ending injury, needs a Personal Assistant to get his design business up and running. Concerned that his parents are putting their lives on hold to care for him during his long recovery, he hopes a fake girlfriend will convince them he’ll be well cared for after his next surgery. He is convinced the perfect solution will be to hire his classmate and friend, Paige, thus solving both their problems. However, his perfect plan unravels when their families assume he and Paige are engaged and start planning their wedding.
