Things That Don’t Fit in Boxes: an inside look at our faith adventure

This is a collection of anecdotal stories about our life of travel and faith. I’ve tried to describe the effort it has taken us to purposefully invest in our gifts and talents and follow the open doors, no matter what the cost. In our four decades together we have moved sixteen times and covered 17,000 miles, lived in four states and two countries and taken more than twenty trips to fourteen different countries in Europe, Scandinavia and Mexico ranging from two weeks up to six months in length. All of these adventures required at least some measure of faith and most of them required a great deal of what some call faith and others call foolishness, but this is an attempt to only present simple narratives that allow the readers to come to their own conclusions about how to categorize our lifestyle. Hopefully, by reading about someone else’s adventures, you’ll find a little inspiration to pursue your own dreams as I describe our life, living outside the box.
