A collection of photographs in panorama format of the New Mexico village of Galisteo, the bosque which flows through its center, and the surrounding watershed, the Galisteo Basin. The pubelo/village of Galisteo was founded at approximately the same time as nearby Santa Fe, and was one of seven large pubelos located in the basin and populated by the Tano indians. The current village location was established in the early 1800’s as part of a Spanish land grant.
