Miranda "M.T." Tupinier is a self-identified butch lesbian Quebecer woman living in Montreal with her lover Tina Chan while studying engineering at Concordia University. At a panel discussion on Racism in the LGBT community, M.T. meets and clashes with a most unusual person. Benjamin Guerrier, who’s tall, dark, handsome...and bisexual. A brilliant Haitian-Canadian student at McGill University, Benjamin challenges M.T. at every turn, and sparks fly between them. As M.T. interrogates her sexuality and butch identity, love blooms. M.T. explores a relationship with Benjamin, the LGBT community and her ex-girlfriend Tina Chan lash out fiercely. The world is simply not ready for a latently bisexual, butch-identified, queer Quebecer woman to be passionately in love with a Black man. Or is it ?
