Service Is Our Middle Name: Stories From the Sierra Service Project 1975-2011

Sierra Service Project (SSP) is a Christian non-profit organization providing life-changing experiences through acts of service repairing homes in Native American and urban communities and serving in Central America. We invite junior high and high school age youth and young adults to experience the profound power of serving people who have a culture and life experience different from their own. Our hope with this book has been to capture some of the love and joy that is the SSP experience. Over ten dollars is contributed to the SSP Scholarship Fund for every book purchased, allowing low-income youth the opportunity to attend SSP.
