＂We don’t make much money, but we have a lot of fun.＂ This was the philosophy of Ernie Victor, a well-known and loved entertainer in the area of Peterborough, Ontario. There are many interesting stories told of people who have become famous for their amazing life accomplishments. There are many more wonderful, untold stories of people whose accomplishments seldom make headlines, but are nonetheless interesting and worthy of telling. This is the story of an ordinary family born from the love of two young, and perhaps naïve, people who struggled through hard times and good times, their love of music and a good laugh binding them together through it all.
