CIVIL WAR GEORGIA The Hendon Family

The book follows the war time careers of fifteen members of the Hendon family who served their home state of Georgia in the Confederate service during the Civil War. The narrative follows the men from their enlistments until the end of their service, detailing their roles in the battles they were in and what happened to them in these battles. The work traces them across the entire landscape of the service of those in the Georgia Brigade of the Army of Northern Virginia andthoe who faced Sherman in the battle for Atlanta.
