Zembifen’s Pawn

The only thing Melana Morithye really wanted was to start over. She was weary of living life as a thief and was prepared to bid her boss farewell after completing her latest errand for him. However, the actions of her partner Dryzer had turned a simple errand into a lengthy journey. They were far from home and had no easy means of returning quickly. What Melana expected least of all was running into a young woman whose very soul was in the grip of Zembifen of the Immortals. It seemed as though Melana’s fate was tied to that of this young woman, whom she swore she had seen before. Now Melana’s journey will take its deadliest turn, leading her towards what could be the very chance she seeks to begin anew... or towards certain death.
