Aerogels for Energy Saving and Storage

＂Aerogels are extremely porous light system with a number of extraordinary and distinct physicochemical properties. The high porosity in combination with the nanometer structural range endows aerogels with unique properties. The three-dimensional structure with tunable porosity of the aerogels helps in various applications including drug delivery, superabsorbent, cell culture growth template, targeted release system, and more. Many industries have already started to promote aerogels for energy applications including thermal insulators, catalysis, energy storage devices, and more.
