This volume examines general driving offences, concentrating on those which punish risk-taking whilst driving, with the primary goal of increasing road safety. The focus is particularly on careless driving, dangerous driving, drink-driving and speeding, with a comparative approach incorporated into the discussion. Dr Sally Cunningham is a lecturer in the Department of Law, University of Leicester, UK. Her teaching and research interests are in the areas of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice. She has a particular interest in and has published widely on vehicular homicide.
