This is an edited text for learning and teaching Mandarin Chinese in higher education, written by leading professionals and academics based on their research on benchmarks, assessment, learning strategies, L2 acquisition in Chinese and teaching methodologies.
Those studies are drawn from established theories in applied linguistics and their development.
