Estelle Nadel is a Holocaust survivor, business owner, and devoted singer. Over the past thirty years, she has told her story hundreds of times, to groups at schools, the University of Wyoming, and even the CO Trial Lawyers Association. She has been the subject of feature articles in the Denver Post and regional publications across the West, and her testimony is recorded by the Shoah Foundation Institute and housed at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. She has three sons and five grandchildren, and lives near Denver, Colorado, with her husband.

Bethany Strout has a decade of experience in children’s book publishing, first at Writers House literary agency, in the editorial department of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, as the Director of Buying at Tattered Cover Book Store, and as the founder of the audiobook publisher Findaway, now a part of Spotify.

Sammy Savos is an illustrator and storyboard artist who has worked on shows at Cartoon Network, Titmouse Inc., and ShadowMachine.
