A writer and poet, Mary E. Haque prefers to capture the essence of the natural world, coupled with elements of love and peace. Having her poems featured in more than a few journals, she enjoys connecting readers to these topics. Additionally, she has been featured in a travel book, I Really Should Have Stayed Home and a previous publication titled Madalynn the Monarch and her Quest to Michoacán. She loves to experiment in long verse poetry, spend time with family, and enjoys reading poetry from famous poets of the past. She is a mom of two artsy adult children and resides with her partner in Chicago, Illinois along with her mini goldendoodle Georgina.

Tatiana Gardel is a New York City-based artist whose work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. Previous books she illustrated include
The First Day of Peace and
Abuelo, the Sea, and Me. Tatiana loves to paint and sketch at the green meadows of Central Park, dance to the music of its performers, and go for walks on its lush pathways. She was born and raised in Brazil and teaches animation to young artists at the Harlem School of the Arts. tatianagardel.com
