Based on the AAA activities of the XII Corps, 3rd U.S. Army, 1 August 1944 to 8 May 1945. The XII Corps entered combat just east of Lemands, France, and ended the war at Linz, Austria. It was engaged in various types of missions, such as break through and pursuit, attack of fortified positions and Sigfried Line, attack from the defensive, operations at river lines (both offensive and defensive), relief of the entire corps by the 7th U.S. Army, force march of the entire corps and combat in cities.
