Nightingale of the Ozarks

Molly Hilton, pious forty-something widow, is attending her favorite activity, a singing convention of all-religious songs. Suddenly feeling the call to try singing, she, and the world, discovers that she has a beautiful soprano voice. That voice leads her from her simple country life into the many intrigues of the business of religion, church organizations, and religious crusades.
