(Which way to Freedom) The Oldest son of Benjamin Arthur Tate Sr. Decided freedom was all he desired for the African men, women and children he had come to live with and love, Benjamin Jr. was twelve years old when he realized he too would have to run a Plantation as a Slave Master. His Father and Uncles all did. One day he and his two younger brothers’ would inherit the same responsibility.
