Radiant Hope

In a distant future, war and ecological apocalypse have devastated the earth. Erid, one of few survivors, has lived in a cave for years by himself. But when a strange light suddenly appears in the distance and a she-wolf seeks his trust, he decides to venture out from the safety of his cave. He will discover that no future can deny the possibility of Christmas.

The short story "Radiant Hope" is organized as an advent calendar with a picture at the start of each day's reading.
