Sunshine Zoo #1: Monkey on the Loose

Sunshine Zoo explores the adventures of ten year old Beverly Trail who is recruited by her uncle to help get the zoo back into shape. Being the daughter of a world famous animal conservationist, Beverly must use her courage and spirit to overcome what obstacles lay in the way of rebuilding a zoo that is in desperate need of a good zookeeper—even if that zookeeper is only in grade school. Often dangerous and sometimes over the top, Beverly’s adventures explore the passion of a child who will let nothing, and no one, get in the way of making Sunshine Zoo a world class zoo once again.

Sunshine Zoo #1 starts the series off with a roar, or rather a howl, as Beverly Trail must track down a mischievous howler monkey that is letting the other animals out of their cages.
