Let me ask you a simple question.
"What do Waco, Littleton and New Orleans all have in common?"
If you locked onto those locations, you understand what they all share.
But, if not, you might want to pay close attention to what you are about to read.
We live in a world where everything is instant. Our food, entertainment and shopping are all geared toward instant gratification. Is that a good thing?
That's a matter of interpretation depending on who you ask.
But, there is one other thing that is instant and nowhere near as popular.
That is Disaster! Whether man-made or natural, disaster can turn your world upside down on a dime!
Ask any of the survivors of the Waco explosion, Littleton shooting or New Orleans aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and they will tell you how their lives changed. . .instantly!
Unless you have a crystal ball, it's difficult to know when disaster may strike. No survivors of any disaster woke up that morning knowing that their lives would be irrevocably changed that day.
No-one has a crystal ball that sends a message of impending doom. So, what can we do without running around like Henny Penny shouting the sky is falling, or a nutcase in flowing robes calling out the end is near?
Is There Another Way?
Yes, which brings us to our author, Barry Morgan. He says, “I realized that we all must be prepared, as far as possible, to help ourselves when disaster strikes until outside assistance arrives, or in case it doesn’t!”
He's a regular guy who has written a great guide about what to do before disaster strikes. Barry says that his book informs people how to prepare their families for most dangerous events and what to do if they occur.
What Will I Learn?
