These two Christmas plays by Christian novelist Regina Russell will bring the real meaning of Christmas to the forefront of any Christian women's group. "Jesus' Christmas List" and "The Friendship Bomb" can be simply or as elaborately staged as desired for your group's needs. In "Jesus' Christmas List" a woman, in search of Christmas's true meaning, finds the perfect gift for Jesus. This play is centered around one strong actress who has the major role and does most of the speaking. The other actresses in the play, except for the Narrator, only speak a few lines apiece. In "The Friendship Bomb" a group of women find a unique way to help someone through the holidays who is going through a difficult time. This play has a more diverse selection of speaking parts for several different actresses. Each of these plays can be done by groups with as few as seven women or many more as each has Christmas scenes that require few stage props or if more staging and extras are desired, the scenes can be easily enlarged by the addition of shoppers and more elaborate scenes (for ex: the scene in the mall in Jesus' Christmas List could be expanded upon as little or as much as wanted.) Both plays seek to glorify Jesus as they compel your audience to seek His presence at the celebration of His birth.
