The Book of Silas

The Book of Silas is the first book in a series entitled The Perdition Epic, written by freshman author David Betz. The Book of Silas follows the pitiful loser Nathan who is summoned to his estranged father’s deathbed where his journey begins by completely turning his world on its head. He soon discovers that the world that he was born into isn’t what anyone believed it to be. Life, the world and everything he thought to be real is shattered and he becomes an unwitting bystander, standing between colliding realms, leaving in its wake a bloody trail of misery and destruction. The uprooted Nathan must learn to cope despite the utter chaos that he now calls normal.
