'The Very Short Book of Very Short Stories' is an diffuse mix of fiction and humour. The tales depict a diverse range of subjects and characters and are set in strange foreign lands. The protagonists are often caught in a struggle with their environment, each other and the inanimate; a ten year old fruit seller in India; an atagonistic drunk in a seedy hotel and a despondent old dog in a backyard.
