In the late 16th century, the queen of England sponsored a voyage to the new world in order to re-establish a colony on the island of Roanoke, near Chesapeake Bay. The famed attempt is known to this day as the Lost Colony. Speculation upon speculation has been proposed as to what may have happened to the colonists but nothing has ever been proven. The recent discovery of a long lost journal written by a teenage boy who accompanied his parents to the island may shed new light upon the matter, as the boy gives an eye witness account of what really happened. But be warned, the following account is unlike any of the ideas presented by speculators throughout history. Could it be that something altogether otherworldly actually took place? You decide, knowing that what is seen is not always what is.
