Streets of Gold

An alien priest for the local village is praying when a human exploration satellite awakes and sets the forest on fire. In the chaos that follows the landing of humans on Dorado, the priest loses his wife, his standing, and his faith. When he finds a Bible, he finds a new faith that is opposed by the village Archon, his family, and everybody else he knows. What else will he lose as he champions his new faith?
