The Chimp, the Chump and the Champ

The Chimp, the Chump and the Champ is an original concept: a semi-factual, semi-fictional narrative weaving together the lives and adventures of Big Denny, the gorilla who owns the notoriously crooked Barstow Card Casino; Max Shapiro, the poker humorist who plays as comically as he writes, and his sweetheart, "Queen" Barbara Enright, the first woman inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame who owns virtually every record for a woman poker player, notably being the only woman ever to make the final table of the World Series of Poker main event. It will be the reader's responsibility to separate fact from fantasy.
