Debbie Granger has an amazing story of how, in her 50's, she decided to go to a dude ranch fora week with some girlfriends. Of course, Deb hadn't been in the saddle in decades so you can imagine how sore she was after that first day's ride. However, not only did Deb have the time of her life, but she fell in love with the plain ranch horse she was paired up with. She struck up a friendship with that animal that lasted for several years.
