Humbled Goddesses

Years ago in rural Dreyfus, Kentucky, seven fourth grade girls studied mythology at a small Christian school. Three bore names of goddesses, and the others took on goddess nicknames. Pretending divinity made them feel powerful until their teacher explained they could only attain true power through Christ. They promised to always be friends, following Jesus together. Then, they went their separate ways and fell deep into sin. The Goddess to Daughter Series explores their stories of redemption and love.

PANDORA (Savannah Barrett), after fleeing town to escape childhood bullies, settles for empty sexual relationships and believes no one could desire her for more. She blames Geoff Spencer, her former tormentor, the man who could love her anyway. When she inherits his farm, she returns to claim his property and face her dreadful past.

MEDUSA (Megan Carter) cannot stop crossing paths with the ruggedly dashing Zach Allen, who resents her for brushing him off in high school. Her heart's so full of bitterness toward him that she cannot love anyone, especially herself.

IRIS (Iris Chambers) blames God and her husband, Ryan, for losing everything to a flood. When she turns to a neighbor for support, she jeopardizes her marriage.

APHRODITE (Anabelle Cooper) obsesses over beauty, which leads to severe, crippling anxiety. When type-Z personality Drew Monroe helps her escape a teenage stalker, he offers an imperfect love that she must humble herself to accept.
