Saga of an Empire

In a nearby galaxy a young empress rose to power. Replacing a republic haunted by long and blood wars her reign brought both stability and hope to the people. Now, as the survivors of the wars move into their elder stages of life, the rising generation is faced with tension and external threats. Suffering strikes and raids the empire has taken a more aggressive stance as of late, expeditions into a neighbor intent on ensuring all is well.
Now, years after the rise of their empire, internal issues are arising, some aimed at the very throne itself. The throne holder will finally face the trials all other must: Becoming a proper adult. With a guardian on one side, and her military leaders on the other, the empress will come face to face with the greatest challenge to her, the pains it will bring to those she trusts, and the realities of what her role requires in times of war.
