Beneath this ancient Roman city, the terrifying Minotaur demands an annual sacrifice - an innocent woman to satisfy his appetites, in exchange for the city's safety. When Severine's sister is chosen as the next victim for the monstrous Minotaur, Severine chooses to fight back. As a prostitute and independent woman, she is not afraid of any man's appetite -- and she has nothing to lose.

But once she arrives in the dark Labyrinth, the monster she finds is not at all what she expects. He doesn't demand sacrificial virgins or human flesh. So who is behind the fear-mongering and endless appetite for annual sacrifices?

Severine confronts the bottomless greed of her town's leading citizens and the beautiful goddess Aphrodite. Her reward will be her own freedom and the love of the beast that she once feared.
