圖書名稱:From Haiti to Guinee' on the Immamou: A Tale of Redemption
This is a folk tale in which a youth, representing the spirit of Haiti, fails in his job of protecting his family from the ravages of a storm and earthquake. He is washed out to sea by a tsunami and meets the Lwa of the sea. By his generous reaction to the loa he is rescued, and is returned to his village, Petit Paradis. The tale is augmented with chants and poems. The numerous illustrations are photographs, taken by the author, of the loa as depicted in a sculptural piece, also by the author.
