If there were two things any one of his coworkers would say about Russell Clearden, it was that he was a hard worker and that he was always cold. It didn’t matter if it was late August - the moment he stepped indoors, the cool, dry air hugged his body and he would reach for his jacket, an action that was more of a reflex than conscious choice. Ridiculous! he thought every time he swung the dense fabric over his shoulders. How could the facilities staff keep the building so cold, when outside was so warm? He tried phoning facilities many times over his nearly twenty-year rein as Vice President of Operations. His time at Bolder Productions, a multi-billion dollar music production company, had brought him much success and proved his worth; he was key through the early stages of the corporate renaissance. He, along with his colleagues, saved the waning music company, whose bottom line had been hit hard by piracy websites during the late 1990’s. However as a master of his craft, the brilliance behind the billions, Russell simply could not feel warmth as he trudged through the workday.
