Homecoming: A Folk Horror Novel

Aspiring novelist Milly Martini is living life on the edge, estranged from her family for over twenty years and spiraling downward into addiction and mental illness, when the deaths of her parents in an unexplained fire bring her back to her hometown of Maple Rock.

Amid the shock and confusion surrounding the fire and the loss of her parents, she begins the painful process of reconnecting with her sisters and searching for answers. As she passes through beliefs about who she and her sisters really are, she gradually learns that something ancient and sinister has been deciding her fate and luring her back.

Homecoming is a lush, darkly imagined portrait of generational trauma, family curses and identity, conflicts between old and new worlds, the discovery of one’s nature and roots, and the things that have power over one.
