Soke Sho: The Soke Writes

William Durbin Soke of Kiyojute Ryu Kempo Bugei was asked by his students to relay the lectures he gave at the Hombu Dojo to the outlying instructors so that they could pass on the information about history, philosophy, principles, and other matters relating to the teaching of the martial arts. This volume includes information included in lectures, letters, newsletters, along with pertinent Kanji of the martial arts. There is also a section showing pictures from the life of the Soke. Pictures include family pictures prior to training and martial arts pictures in the life of William Durbin from 1970 to 2022. Deep philosophical considerations are covered, showing the Christian nature which is in harmony with the real martial arts as they were traditionally taught. Advanced martial arts principles are also covered so that this book good is an excellent reference for all serious traditional and spiritually minded martial artist.
