I wrote on the Fruit of the Spirit in that it is not some all-fit mold, nor is it psychologically manufactured, it is not a behavioural issue. There are no laws that we are required to live by to please God, we cannot keep them as perfectly as would be required, and so we need to place our trust in Christ and what He has accomplished on our behalf as our propitiation. Instead it is the holy Spirit produced mindset that infuses the believer resultant from his or her personal, inter and intra-active, intimate relationship with God. This is what the book is about. It is an attempt to help the reader to come to an understanding and as such, to equip him or her in their relationship with God and others.
