Lord Hal’s Secret Rescuer

Cavalry officer, Lord Hal, is seriously wounded in his soul as much as in his body. He is rescued by a most unconventional young woman, a veritable blue-stocking, with a problem of her own. Soon, however, what looks like a perfect answer for both of them turns into something much more complicated, as it becomes obvious that the terrible legacy of his family and upbringing cannot be so easily dealt with.
