Tanisia Moore views writing as her avenue for giving hope, sharing life’s lessons, and sparking imaginations. In her debut picture book, I Am My Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams, she introduced young readers to famous Black men with the intention of inspiring Black boys to dream and live big. In that same spirit, I Am Black Girl Magic aims to empower young girls and remind them of their strength as it shines a light on famous Black women who blazed a trail for them.
