Jami Rogers is an Honorary Fellow in Multicultural Shakespeare at the University of Warwick, UK. Having trained at LAMDA in classical acting, she holds an MA and a PhD from the Shakespeare Institute, University of Birmingham. She created and British Black and Asian Shakespeare Performance Database and researches race and gender diversity in the live and recorded arts. She is on the board of The Act For Change Project and The Diversity School. She previously worked for PBS and holds an Emmy award for work on PBS’s flagship drama series Masterpiece Theatre in the US.
