Shakespeare and Meisner: A Practical Guide for Actors, Directors, Students and Teachers

Aileen Gonsalves has worked as an actor, writer and director since 1994 and has gained extensive practical experience across all mediums. Her specialism has been Shakespeare, working primarily with the RSC for over a decade as an actor, director and educational associate practitioner across the UK and Internationally. She has been a Meisner practitioner and teacher for over 20 years, working on graduate acting courses across leading UK drama schools and universities, including as Head of the MA in Acting course at ArtsEd 2012-2015.

Tracy Irish is a teacher, writer and practitioner with thirty years’ experience of working with Shakespeare. She works regularly with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Universities of Birmingham and Warwick, UK.
