Mayurika Chakravorty is Instructor of English and Interdisciplinary Studies at Carleton University, Canada. Her publications include articles published in The Conversation and South Asia Research and she has presented at conferences including Childhood and Youth Studies, Canadian Content in Speculative Arts and Literature and Annual Conference of the Association of Asian Studies. Her areas of expertise include fantasy and science fiction; postcolonial literature and theory; South-Asian literature; children’s literature; representation of children in literature and media.
