Commentary on the book of Joshua. A fresh look at this warrior king who took over a wandering Israel and marched them into the Promised Land. The book contains many principles for our life and this is brought out of the text. The book is full of obedience and faith through the characters that are depicted. Often the Old Testament is neglected for these principles. We note that these things were written for our examples. As we understand that God kept His promises to the nation; we understand that He will keep His promises to us. The difficulties that they faced were as hard on them as the difficulties we face today and we learn that He will never leave us nor forsake us. This is the lesson of the book to the leader who will lead this nation and the lesson to us as we live our lives.
