The Pastorals

The Pastorals are what I call letters written to Pastors. Pastor of course is a term for the office of Pastor. This office is turn readily recognizable by term of shepherd in the Old Testament. The letters are of course advice on what to do in the church. It is more. What should the church expect of the Pastor? How do they measure his qualification or his performance? What is in store for the church? The Pastorals give these answers. The Pastorals includes Philemon along with I Timothy and II Timothy. Philemon is considered a Pastor and had a church in his home.
