A family with secrets …
Eager for a break from those who know her family’s history, Catarina Sylvan attends a wedding as a bridesmaid at the Randolph Chateau—an upper state mansion far away from the Ozarks. But her ideal fairytale comes to an end when she’s met with jealousy and resentment.
Despite this, Cat finds an unlikely ally in a man far outside her league. Although Garrick Randolph, heir to the family fortune, is at first intimidating, he quickly captures Cat’s heart. To add to their impossible relationship they learn someone is stealing the chateau’s prized art collection. As fears from the past resurface, Cat is more determined than ever to hide her true identity.
