Blunt Force Kharma: Section 4

Blunt Force Kharma is an urban sci-fi noir from the author of the long running noir fantasy Miki Radicci series. Here he tackles darker and tenser stories and continues to use quirky and realistic characters in a highly probably future. 

Just outside Central District, a construction company digging a subway hires Kharma to find a killer but she finds instead resistance from the law enforcement and government, forcing her to start from scratch. Back home, Kharma cautiously accepts a job to protect and transport a teen age boy so special that the government wants him dead. In another case, two families hire Kharma to connect their child's violent and sudden crimes when there is nothing at all in common.
