Emerson Pryne, against his better judgment, takes the case to prove that billionaire Robert Belson was murdered. The police are adamant the death was natural, but Emerson begins to have doubts as motives for murder pile up and alibis become scarce. But a buck's a buck and Emerson does his best to find the true killer, only to stumble upon a greater mystery.
