Anders is a God who’s forgotten how to be divine. Seriously. As a once-worshiped Satyr who spent his life spreading joviality across Europe now in the midst of a world-wide Pagan revival, you’d think he’d be having the time of his life after centuries of being pushed to the sidelines by society. Yet he remains convinced that the world doesn’t need his kind anymore as he maintains the pretense of being a Minnesotan retiree. But when the Leyline running through his small resort town begins sputtering its magical essence erratically, and a new, self-trained Witch comes to town on the heels of this change, it’ll be up to him to investigate the instability in the energy source every magic user in town relies on, discover just how false his "retirement" has been and how many of the town’s Sorcerers, Wizards, and Warlocks he’s inadvertently taken on as apprentices over the years, and finally take on the persona of The Old Man, a greater and wiser God than he had ever been before.
