Liberty is more than a political concept. It is the essence of a man’s life, it encompasses his work and relationships, it enables him to fulfill his purpose and gives his life meaning. This work is not a dry textbook but a conversation between John Smith, an average man frustrated, oppressed and flailing about in his life, and Hashticharot. Each chapter focuses on one area of life and how John interprets it and puts it into practice. He learns about relationships, family, work, law, religion and government, to name a few. Liberty is a simple concept but it is hard to put into practice. I intend to enlighten and challenge you to learn to live the way men and women were meant to live. In a world of growing oppression and confusion, conflict and lies, understanding liberty will give clarity and hope. It is men and women who understand and live liberty who will save us all.
