EXCERPT PREFACE ＂...A collection of observations and self-reflections written near the turn of the 21st century, ＂The Book of Tori＂ is an exploration of human emotion and spirituality as well as a look into a mind recovering from clinical depression. It was written over the course of a decade (always with the music of Tori Amos in the background, hence the title). *The Millennium Affair- The first in a series of seven ＂cycles＂ of prose, ＂The Millennium Affair＂ is a collection of dreams, musings and guided meditations and was written over a week between classes. *Untitled- ＂Untitled＂ is included simply because its style fits the others. Its fairly straight-forward and details pieces of a chance encounter at Uncle Vic’s ( a nightclub in Elyria, OH). Although it is the least introspective piece, I feel it reveals the most about myself...＂
